Xiaomi reveals Redmi Note 9S priced from as low as RM699 with Lazada flash sales
Xiaomi has just unveiled their latest midrange workhorse phone, the Redmi Note 9S in a global live stream that also revealed details of its Malaysia launch where it will debut online on Lazada with a special promotional flash sale that drives the price as low as RM699.
In Malaysia, the Redmi Note 9s comes in two different variants that differ based on storage. The 4GB RAM/128GB variant is intended for online sale at a price of RM799 while the more powerful 6GB RAM/128GB storage version is for offline retail and is priced at RM899.
Storage and RAM aside, what both variants of the Redmi Note 9s have in common is that both come with a 6.67-inch DotDisplay LCD which has a tiny punchhole for the front-facing 16-MP AI-enhanced selfie camera. The display itself is sheathed in Corning Gorilla 5 glass and packs FHD+ resolution in keeping with many mainline phones.
Under the hood, it comes with a Snapdragon 720G 2.3GHz processor that is built on an 8nm process. The rear sports a quad camera with a 48-MP primary camera, an 8-MP ultra wide angle camera, a 5-MP camera camera and a 2-MP depth sensor. Other mod-cons include a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a huge 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charge support and a bundled 22.5W fast charger to go with it.
