Fresh off the release of their Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, Xiaomi is adding yet another affordable smartphone to their Malaysia line-up alongside their prior Mi 9 and Mi 9T, in the form of the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite comes with a 6.39-inch FHD+ display that has an under-display fingerprint reader up front and packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with two possible storage configurations of your choice – either 6GB RAM/64GB or 7GB RAM/128GB.

The rear comes with a triple camera array that has a large 48-MP F/1.79 camera that uses pixel binning and has a half-inch sized Sony sensor, a secondary 8-MP camera with a 118-degree wide angle lens and a 2-MP depth sensor. The front comes with a 32-MP AI selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a 4,030mAh battery with QuickCharge 4 support.

The Mi 9 Lite will come in three colours – Pearl White, Aurora Blue and Onyx Black in two storage configurations – a 6GB RAM/64GB variant for RM1,199 that is an online exclusive at Lazada and Shopee and a larger 6GB RAM/128GB variant for RM1,299 that is available at authorised Mi stores and both of the aforementioned online retailers. The phone will be available for sale online and at retail outlets from 1st November 2019.
