The delectable spread at the Warisan Kita at Serena Brasserie buffet is ongoing until 1st May 2022 and the Serena Brasserie operates from 6.30AM to 10.30PM daily. Inspired by nostalgia, the dishes are painstakingly made by the chefs at Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur based on recipes passed down from generation to generation.

What’s at the Warisan Kita at Serena Brasserie

Among the delectable dishes available is the ‘Pasta Goreng Kawah Cucu Bonda’, a unique Malaysian fusion of our perennially popular Mee Goreng stir fried with chicken slices, fish cake, a special secret paste and fused with the al dente bite of Spaghetti or Fettuccine. Crafted by Chef Sapri’s mother, it will become a favourite for you too at the very first bite.

Another delicious dish to savour at the Warisan Kita at Serena Brasserie is crafted by Chef Balqish by her grandmother and passed down through three generations dubbed ‘Nasi Kukus Balqish’. This mouth watering dish on a bed of rice combines the rich flavours of Kari Kepak Barramundi and Rendang Ayam Tok Nek accompanied by Pucuk Ubi Lemak Kuning, Gulai Kawah Bonda and Patin Tempoyak Temerloh to create a rich fusion of flavours to enthral your tastebuds.

For seafood lovers, the freshly caught stingray, mackerel and stuffed squid are carefully grilled to perfection at the ‘Ikan Bakar Haji Aiman’ station located at Al Fresco section of Serena Brasserie. Another delightful seafood option is the ‘Seafood on Ice’ station that features US Oysters, Blue Swimmer crabs, New Zealand Green Lip mussels, Slipper Lobsters and more on ice.

A traditional mainstay during Hari Raya, the tender and succulent spit roasted ‘Kambing Golek Tujuh Keturunan’ roast lamb is a must-have that’s lovingly cooked over hot coals by Chef Nadzira to perfection and then carved before being serve with your choice of Rosemary or Percik sauce accompanied by fresh vegetables and spuds.
