Vivo launches V7+ selfie camphone in Malaysia
Prolific selfie snappers have another option today to choose from as Vivo has just launched their flagship V7+ selfie camphone that totes a humongous 24-MP front facing camera with an F/2.0 aperture and its own dedicated LED flash for shots in low light.
The front 5.99-inch display of the Vivo V7+ sports a unique 18:9 aspect ratio with ultra slim size bezels
Shots can be further augmented by their Face Beauty 7.0 algorithm that offers image enhancement for snaps on the fly to offer blemish free skin and other more subtle visual enhancements for more pleasing looking self portrait shots.
The base of the V7+ has a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port
The kicker is that the Vivo V7+ is also able to use this facial aesthetic enhancement ability when you’re using third party videocall apps too. It currently supports WhatsApp, Line, Facebook Messenger, Zalo, Viber Messenger and BBM.
The front 24-MP selfie camera has a dedicated LED flash
An additional enhancement with the front camera is image recognition that allows for you to scan your mug in so you can immediately unlock the phone by showing it your mug on top of the other usual security options like the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone.

Another item of note on the V7+ is its front 5.99-inch 1,440 x 720 pixel HD display that has a rather unusual 18:9 aspect ratio which offers 12.5% more screen real estate compared to more traditional 16:9 aspect ratio displays on account of significantly narrower bezels that measure just 2.15mm thin.

The rest of the hardware consists of,a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 1.8GHz octacore chip running Android Nougat 7.1 paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage via a triple card slot that lets you mount a microSD card and two SIM cards, all at the same time.
The rear camera comes with a 16-MP sensor with an F/2.0 aperture and the ability to stack up to four snaps into one huge 64-MP resolution pic. Videos for both front and rear are capped at 1080P resolution.
The phone also offers other enhancements unique to the Vivo line that include an AK4376A Hi-Fi chip for better quality audio playback as well as the handy ability to clone a selected number of apps so you can use two accounts simultaneously on the phone; handy if you need to juggle between a work and a private social media account.
