Vivo launches V7 in Malaysia for RM1,299

Vivo Malaysia has just announced the launch of their Vivo V7 selfie camphone that comes after the launch of their larger-sized V7+. In terms of specifications, the Vivo V7 sports a similar hardware setup as the V7+ albeit with less built-in storage, a slightly smaller screen and a slightly smaller battery in a more compact form factor for a lower price tag.

The phone comes with a 5.7-inch 1,440 x 720 pixel resolution display with a 2:1 aspect ratio. Paired with this is a Snapdragon 450 1.8GHz octacore processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB of expandable memory. The rear camera has a 16-MP camera with an F/2.0 aperture, an LED flash and phase detection autofocus. Perched just beneath it is a fingerprint reader to unlock the phone. Running under the hood is Android 7.1.2 out of the box overlaid with their FunTouch 3.2 OS user interface.


The front comes with a larger 24-MP selfie camera with an F/2.0 aperture with a large 1.0 µm pixel size. The V7’s battery is a non-removable 3,000mAh battery that offers about a day plus of battery life with the efficient processor and more compact screen.
