Taiwan is known for many things – as the place for some of the most delectable street food on the planet, one of the most well known purveyors of bubble milk tea and as one of the most beautiful tourist spots on the planet. Many aren’t as familiar with the fact that Taiwan is also the birthplace of some of the world’s most innovative global tech brands like MSI, Asus, Acer and HTC.
To spur this spirit of innovation, Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) launched the Taiwan Excellence award in 1992 which is awarded to the most innovative products that are rigorously assessed based on their innovation in R&D, design, quality and marketing. This distinctive red emblem acts as a hallmark of excellence to showcase the best that Taiwan has to offer.
At a special press conference today, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the wordpress Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) announced that Malaysians can experience the best products and technologies that Taiwan has to offer at the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion that will be held at 1 Utama Shopping Centre starting tomorrow 12 July 2017 to 16 July 2017.
Not only will the pavilion feature the latest in tech from some of Taiwan’s most renowned brands , it will also feature cutting edge sports and leisure products too like the Ta-Da chair from Step2Gold. In addition, the event will feature cultural performances and prizes over RM10,000.
