Shopee 3.3 Supermarket Sale now has fast next-day delivery

Getting your purchases, especially for perishables, remains an elusive grail for online retailers but Shopee has apparently solved this conundrum as they’re rolling out next-day delivery services nationwide in time with their upcoming Shopee 3.3 Supermarket Sale that is ongoing until 3rd March 2021.

The Shopee 3.3 Supermarket Sale will allow buyers who plonk their orders in before 12 noon to enjoy next-day delivery and is eligible for merchandise labelled with the ‘Next-Day Delivery tag’ on their Shopee Mart portal. Orders placed after the cut-off time will be delivered the following day.

Naturally, there are some caveats and the next-day delivery is not available, for now at least, in Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu and the service is not available for deliveries on public holidays. If the delivery doesn’t come on time, users will get a Free Shipping voucher for their next Shopee Mart purchase.

According to Ian Ho, Regional Managing Director of Shopee, the brand has enhanced their logistics, especially in terms of delivery lead time and deliveries that used to take up to 10 days and longer in East Malaysia have now been reduced to just one to four days.
