The impetus for growth in ShopBack is driven by the explosive growth in online shopping with 60% of ShopBack’s transactions enabled for items sold on online marketplaces with the average value of purchases average at RM200 while users spent an average of RM600 on travel bookings.
To kick off the year, ShopBack is driving additional growth with upgrades to their browser extension for desktop users that allows users to seamlessly detect websites that offer cashback through ShopBack when searching for an item.
