Secret recipes, luscious latte art and top tech – all on this 16 May (Sunday) @ MyCloudTable’s “An Afternoon Flirt” at Pickle & Fig Café , TTDI
While we all love the finer things in life – great coffee, awesome grub and cutting edge tech – we all usually can’t enjoy them at the same time. Fortunately, MyCloudTable, the purveyor of bespoke dining experiences has managed to combine all three together with an exciting get-together that they’ve dubbed as ‘An Afternoon Flirt”.
On 15 May 2016, on a nice relaxing Sunday, MyCloudTable, will be offering an experiential session that will encompass dining, tech and coffee at the Pickle and Fig Café in TTDI. The Pickle and Fig Café is one of Kuala Lumpur’s hottest dining locations that specialises in continental cuisine, smoothies and some of the best sandwiches on the continent including their legendary Rotkraut Pastrami sandwich that blends beef pastrami, rotkraut and delicately toasted bread into a mouth-watering experience. The Pickle and Fig Café has been lauded with a host of awards including Best Healthy Eats in 2014 by TimeOut KL as well as rave reviews by regular patrons and food pundits alike.
Starting from 3.00PM, guests will enjoy and experience a sampling of delightful culinary experiences from a professionally trained gourmet chef as well as a world-class barista while being able to take images of their personally created masterpieces with the latest Panasonic Lumix cameras.
To start off, coffee enthusiasts from Coffex Coffee, a purveyor of fine coffee beans will also be showcasing what exactly goes into a cup of coffee and what happens throughout the process from the moment a coffee bean is harvested to when it reaches your table. Afterwards, participants will have a hands-on course on the fine art of creating latte art by Ms. Bee Azez, the master barista of Pickle & Fig who has over five years of experience crafting all manner of delightful caffeinated beverages.
Afterwards, participants will learn how to make Pickle & Fig’s vaunted Caesar Salad including a hands-on step-by-step walkthrough on how to make their secret Caesar’s Salad sauce thanks to their in-house chef Timothy Ryan who has learnt the ropes since he was a lad under his grandmother’s wing as well in the Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur.
Participants will also get to commemorate all their culinary masterpieces for posterity as Panasonic will be showcasing their latest range of Lumix cameras for everyone to experience during the event. That makes for quite an interesting Sunday indeed with plenty to experience and do.
Tickets to the event are limited and are RM88 per pax inclusive of 6% GST and each participant will also get to enjoy a unique personalised gift as well as snacks and beverages during the event.
