Samsung The Freestyle Smart Projector now in Malaysia for RM4,999 with free green skin and case worth RM498

By and large, projectors are otherwise standard issue offerings but Samsung’s The Freestyle smart projector combines elements of a projector with a smart TV in a portable form factor which makes it a rather distinctive offering in the market and it’s now officially on store shelves nationwide in Malaysia with an RM4,999 price tag though Samsung is throwing in several free gifts worth RM498.

The Freestyle smart projector by default comes with a white finish but the free gifts consist of an additional skin that you can slip onto the case to add a modicum of protection and effectively give it a new colour that’s worth RM199. You also get a matching dark green case to tote it around worth RM299. These free gifts are only available if you buy it before 31st July 2022 so you still have a bit of time.

For the uninitiated, Samsung’s The Freestyle smart projector has the ability to project a 100-inch image on any flat surface and weighs just 830g which makes it very portable indeed. It comes with built-in 360-degree speakers and battery and also supports USB-PD with 50W/20V so you can keep it juiced with compatible power banks when out in the field.
