Samsung One UI 4 Beta programme for Galaxy S21 series 

Samsung is deploying their One UI 4 Beta programme for the Galaxy S21 series smartphones and allowing users in selected regions to give it a whirl before it becomes official.

The Samsung One UI 4 Beta programme is currently extended to the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, the Galaxy S21+ 5G and the Galaxy S21 5G smartphones in selected regions. At present, Galaxy S21 series phones in Malaysia are at One UI version 3.1.

Participants who sign up for the beta programme get to preview and test the One UI 4 design, its new features and then submit feedback to finetune the final upgraded firmware later this year.

Samsung One UI 4 Beta Updates

The Samsung One UI 4 Beta will offer deeper, richer customisation options to tweak the home screen, icons, notifications, wallpapers and more. It will also feature deeper customisation of widgets from visibility to appearance including – wait for it – more emojis.

The Samsung One UI 4 Beta also brings updated privacy and protection especially to data and how its used with indicators to show users if apps access the camera and microphone so that they can be disabled at will. 

How to sign up for the Samsung One UI 4 Beta?

The Samsung One UI 4 Beta is currently extended to owners of the Galaxy S21 series in selected markets. To sign up, you’ll have to do so through the Samsung Members app and be in a region where they have the Beta programme. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be one available just yet for our region but we’ll keep you posted!
