Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series now available in Malaysia to track health, sleep and more from RM899

After making a splash at the recent Unpacked 2021 live stream launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series and the Galaxy Buds2 wireless earbuds are now officially available in Malaysia.

What is the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series

The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series for 2021 comes in two varieties, with the slightly larger Galaxy Watch4 Classic sporting a rotating bezel to navigate the revamped user interface in tandem with the rounded AMOLED display while the standard Galaxy Watch4 relies on just the touchscreen display alone to get about the menus.

Both the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic each also come in two slightly different screen sizes with the Watch4 Classic coming in 46mm with a rounded 1.35-inch AMOLED display and 42mm sizes with a 1.19-inch AMOLED display while the sportier looking Watch4 comes in 44mm (with a 1.36-inch AMOLED) and 40mm (with a 1.19-inch AMOLED)sizes.

Regardless of size, the new Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series runs the new Wear OS powered by Samsung with deep integration of popular Google apps like Google Maps and other powerful Samsung services like Samsung Pay, SmartThings and Bixby along with desirable third-party apps like Spotify.

The sophistication of the new Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series doesn’t just end there as the new smartwatches have a 3-in-1 BioActive sensor that is capable of, for the first time in a smartwatch, calculating body composition with a high degree of accuracy.

This is on top of sporting the other more mainstream health and fitness tracking features like measuring blood oxygen levels, sleep quality (or lack thereof) and it is even able to help track your snoring and breathing patterns too for an even more detailed look at your health.

Both Bluetooth only and LTE enabled models exist and a look at the Samsung Malaysia website reveals that, for the first time ever, that it does seem to have LTE versions of the Galaxy Watch4 in stock though at press time we were only able to get official prices and availability on the following models.

Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series price in Malaysia

While they were completely sold out on their initial preorder programme earlier in September, the Galaxy Watch 4 series are now available nationwide in Malaysia.

Also available is the Galaxy Buds2 wireless earbuds in your choice of all four official colours – Lavender, Olive, Graphite and White at RM499. For a limited time only, the Galaxy Buds2 will get a free water resistant cover worth RM99 if you purchase it between from 22nd to 31st October 2021.
