Samsung Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series enjoy chart-topping preorders; now globally available

Since their official global debut at Galaxy Unpacked 2022 several weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones and the Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets have enjoyed overwhelming response with record-breaking preorders across the planet and are, to date, among their best selling devices ever.

According to Samsung Electronics, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series saw more preorders within the first week than any other Samsung smartphone and tablet to date and this is counting the illustrious lineage of the series that stretches all the way back to the first Galaxy S series phone and Galaxy Tab tablet.

Further, they’ve added that the Galaxy S22 series preorders are more than double that of the Galaxy S21 series with more than 60% of sales driven by the flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra. In the case of the Galaxy Tab S8 series, preorder numbers were double that of last year’s Galaxy Tab S7 series with 50% of sales driven by the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series preorder in Malaysia

These are impressive figures indeed by any measure of the word. In Malaysia, response for the Galaxy S22 series has been so overwhelming that they’ve offered not one but two preorder waves to cater to overwhelming demand.

The first wave of preorders offered a slew of free gifts worth up to RM1,317. The second wave of preorder promos offered the Galaxy Watch 4 for free and other freebies worth RM1,168.

For those who’ve preordered the Galaxy S22 series in the first wave, you can start collecting your purchases and free gifts at your designated collection points from 10AM 3rd March 2022 (Thursday) all the way to 10PM, 23rd March 2022 (Wednesday).

For those who preordered in wave 2, you can collect your purchases from 10AM, 28th March 2022 (Monday) all the way to 10PM, 30th April 2022 (Saturday).
