Samsung has announced that they will be showcasing a new offering in a Samsung Galaxy MWC Event 2022 that will take place at Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona. 

There’s scant few details available but the invitation states that “Samsung Electronics is once again redefining the future of how we work and how we learn” as well as a date of when the Samsung Galaxy MWC Event 2022 will happen and where to watch the live stream. There is also an enigmatic animated GIF attached with the invite that also adds in a few hints.

What is the Samsung Galaxy MWC Event 2022

Earlier this year, Samsung launched their Galaxy S22 series of flagship phones alongside the new Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets.  Several years ago, MWC would have been the main venue where they would have launched their flagship products but the drive to release products earlier has them hosting their own Unpacked global launches.

It’s still too early in the year for Samsung’s next generation of foldable phones which are speculated to be the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 series though knowing for the tendency for tetraphobia, it could skip a model number too. 

The provided GIF image (click for the animation to run) strongly hints that Samsung may be showcasing a new Galaxy Book laptop and possibly accompanying devices in their ecosystem. Unfortunately, Galaxy Book laptops aren’t sold in Malaysia but it’s certainly interesting to see what they have to offer when they kick off the live stream.

To watch the event via live stream, you can tune into Samsung’s official YouTube page. Officially speaking, the show kicks off on February 28th at 2.00AM Malaysia time.
