Roborock S7 robot vacuum up for pre-orders at RM2,199 on Shopee

Robot vacuums seem to be in vogue of late to save time on household chores in Malaysia and the Roborock S7 robot vacuum is looking to fill that need with a few unique tricks up its proverbial robotic sleeves.

This floor trundling automaton is the size of a dinner plate, comes in black or white and both vacuums and mops your floors.

Rather than just simply sucking up dust and crud and slopping a bunch of brushes about the floor, it adopts a new ‘sonic’ mopping system that can vibrate anywhere from 1,650 to 3,000 times per minute to ‘shake’ stubborn dirt free on top of an improved 2,500Pa.of suction power.

The Roborock S7 is also smart enough to know how to tackle carpets – the mortal enemy of robot vacuums. It apparently has ‘Vibrarise’ tech that helps to intelligently raise the mop when it detects carpets to navigate and clean them effectively. It is also rated for up to 3 hours of non-stop cleaning before returning to its dock for recharging

Controllingthe Roborock S7 is via a free downloadable app on your phone that lets you tweak cleaning schedules and other preferences too along with the ability to accept voice commands via Alexa, Google Home and Siri.
