If there’s one thing that’s booming across the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it’s gaming and Razer is taking the lead by launching the inaugural Razer Southeast Asian Invitational 2020.

The Razer Southeast Asian Invitational 2020 aims to prepare the region’s e-sportsmen for the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam next year, with a slated commencement date of 22 June 2020 with the grand finals slated for 3rd to 5th July 2020.

In terms of the games slated for the Razer Southeast Asian Invitational 2020, the event will feature Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG Mobile), Defense of the Ancients 2 (DOTA 2) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). That basically means one battle royale game and two MOBA games are up for the invitationals.

This prestigious competition is held in partnership with Tier One Entertainment and viewers can tune into Team Razer’s social channels on YouTube, Facebook and Twitch for live streams as matches occur. Participation in the Razer Southeast Asian Invitational 2020 is by invitation only via recognised e-sports federations who will individually elect their own participants via various qualifiers held all the way until June.
