Breathe easy as the Playstation Store for PS3 and PS Vita will stay open

Unfortunately, the Playstation Store for PSP gets the axe and will be decommissioned on 2nd July, 2021. According to Sony, the original decision to commission the Playstation Store for PS3 and PS Vita was on account of their age and the need to focus their resources on newer consoles like the PlayStation 5.

They have since reversed it after seeing the passion gamers had in buying classic games for these consoles that have seen service for close to 15 years.
