Plantronics launches the BackBeat FIT 3100 and BackBeat FIT 2100 wireless earbuds and more in Malaysia

Fitness enthusiasts who enjoy music but who need a robust pair of headphones that can survive all the usual challenges befalling equipment during a workout – the risk of it falling off, getting waterlogged with sweat and the like without compromising on quality will appreciate the fact that Plantronics is bringing in a host of earbuds and headphones for the Malaysia market under their BackBeat FIT and BackBeat GO series.

Coming to Malaysia is the Backbeat FIT 3100, BackBeat FIT 2100, BackBeat FIT 350 and the BackBeat GO 810 with most of them being available nationwide though some like the BackBeat FIT 2100 and BackBeat GO 410 will arrive later in November-December 2018. BackBeat FIT 3100

The BackBeat FIT 3100 is a pair of wireless earbuds that combine a pair of earhooks to stay securely onto your ears and a pair of 13.5mm drivers to offer up to 5 hours of music playback on a single charge. Charging is done by plonking the earbuds back into the casing with up to ten additional hours of juice available for a total of 15 hours of playback time. The earbuds are also IP57 rated for water resistance and have “Always Aware” eartips that make it ideal for outdoor sportsmen to be more aware of ambient environmental hazards like oncoming traffic, angry pooches and the like. The BackBeat FIT 3100 can be had in your choice of either black or grey for RM799.

BackBeat FIT 2100

Intended for use outdoors, the BackBeat FIT 2100 has a bright finish and Always Aware eartips akin to the FIT 3100. The earbuds are also IP57 rated for water resistance and integrate a pair of 13.5mm drivers to offer up to seven hours of battery life on a single charge. It also has a quick charge feature that gives you an hour of listening time with just a short 15 minute charge. The BackBeat FIT 2100 will come in Black, Grey, Blue and Lava Black for RM499 sometime this November or December 2018.

BackBeat GO 410

Plantronic’s BackBeat GO 410 are a pair of necklace-style wireless earbuds that notably offer active noice cancelling tech to squelch out annoying background noise while 10mm drivers offer up some sweet sound once you’ve paired it up with your phone or another source of music via Bluetooth 5.0. The BackBeat GO 410 offers up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge and also comes with a sweat resistant design and a neat looking pouch in matching colours. The Backbeat GO 410 comes in your choice of either Graphite or a shade of Bone for RM649 and will be available in Malaysia sometime this November or December 2018.

BackBeat FIT 350

This relatively affordable pair of wireless earbuds is designed to stay on securely even with rigorous activitiy. A pair of 6mm drivers and IPX5 rated water resistance and six hours of battery life roll out its more notable features. The BackBeat FIT 350 comes in a trio of combo paint jobs – Black/Grey, GreyBone and Grey/Blue for RM399 and are now available nationwide.

BackBeat GO 810

The most unique offering out of today’s line-up the Backbeat GO 810 are over-the-ear cans that integrate 40mm drivers with dual-mode active noise cancelling tech to offer up to 22 hours of playback time. If you turn active noise cancelling off, you can get about 28 hours of battery life. Charging it back up to full takes two hours but if you’re in a hurry you can get three hours of playback time with just a ten minute charge. The BackBeat GO 810 comes in Graphic Black, Navy Blue and Bone White for RM799 and are now available nationwide.
