OPPO F11 Pro with 48-MP camera lands in Malaysia priced at RM1,399 1

OPPO aims to kick in the new year with a bang with the release of their first flagship phone for 2019 which combines an array of their best technologies including a pop-up selfie cam to maximise screen size and the notable addition of a dual rear camera array with a massive 48-MP sensor that also has a bevy of tech to offer excellent low light portraiture.

Externally, the OPPO F11 Pro has a mirrored gradient finish in your choice of Thunder Black and Aurora Green with a centreline rear mounted dual camera array that consists of a 48-MP f/1.8 camera with phase detection autofocus paired up with a secondary 5-MP depth sensor. This is paired up with a 6P Largan lens and OPPO’s Tetracell tech that combines four pixels together into one larger pixel to achieve a large 1.6 0µm micro pixels so as to offer better detail. To enhance low light photography, the OPPO F11 Pro also has an Ultra Night Mode that leverages on AI and multi-frame noise reduction tech to capture beautiful portraiture even under low light.  It also has a Dazzle Color (sic) mode that makes colours pop and skin tones more pleasing.


The front consists of a pop-up motorised selfie camera that has a 16-MP f/2.0 sensor that is also capable of 1080P video. According to OPPO, the selfie camera motor has been thoroughly tested and can work a 100 times a day continuously for 6 years without fail; an impressive feat indeed.

By keeping it under wraps until needed, the OPPO F11 Pro manages to cram in a staggeringly huge 6.53-inch LTPS IPS LCD display with an 84.4% screen-to-body ratio and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the OPPO F11 Pro sports a MediaTek Helio P70 processor running Android 9.0 Pie with their ColorOS 6 user interface paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage.

Keeping the OPPO F11 Pro powered is a 4,000mAh battery juiced by a somewhat quaint micro USB port at the base as well as VOOC fast charging tech that only takes 80 minutes to fully charge itself from dead zero.
