Barely months after the arrival of the A92 in May, Oppo Malaysia is introducing its successor the Oppo A93. In keeping with its predecessor, the A93 is intended to be a midrange smartphone though its exact specifications have yet to be officially mentioned save for a few details.
What has been revealed so far about the Oppo A93 is that it will have 8GB RAM, 128GB of onboard storage and 6 ‘AI Portrait’ cameras with 4 in the back and 2 cameras in the front. Some of the vaunted features of the phone that Oppo has stated are an ‘AI Night Flare Portrait’ mode which blends lowlight-HDR algorithms and bokeh in shots for the rear quad camera array along with a ‘AI Super Clear Portrait’ mode.
Beyond that, details are scarce as to what the hardware or pricing of the Oppo A93 will be though the brand has stated that there will be an official launch this coming 6th October for the phone that will feature Ayda Jebat.
What is certain though is that Oppo is whistling up a preorder programme from 6th to 9th October 2020 where buyers who place a blind preorder booking for the A93 will get RM199 worth of free gifts that consist of a compact folding umbrella and a wireless Bluetooth speaker set.
