OPPO Malaysia is bringing in an additional midrange workhorse phone to bolster their substantial in-country lineup dubbed the OPPO A73 that is slated for a 3rd November launch.
The OPPO A73 seems to be a redesignation of the OPPO F17 that was launched in India last month and is a 4G LTE phone that packs a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint reader, a Snapdragon 662 processor running Android 10 and their own ColorOS UI, 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
The rear of the A73 hosts a quad camera array with a 16MP primary camera, an 8MP wide angle camera and a pair of 2MP depth cameras while the front hosts a single 16MP selfie camera.
The battery is a 4015mAh job powered by USB-C and which has 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash charging.
There’s no official word on price or final specifications yet for Malaysia but the teaser image they had showed that this will be a Shopee exclusive and the A73 in their Dynamic Orange and Navy Blue finish.
In India, it retails for RM17,990 INR which translates to about RM1016. Stay tuned to Hitech Century for updates on OPPO’s next phone!
