Acer is still refining the concept of a Chrome OS all-in-one workstation and their two latest offerings in their Chromebase line-up dubbed the Chromebase for Meetings 24V2 and the Chromebase C4I2 aim to fill the gap needed for a video conferencing station in the case of the former and as a compact workstation or information kiosk for the latter.
Intended as an out-of-the-box solution for teleconferencing, the Acer Chromebase for Meetings 24V2 has a 24-inch Full HD touchscreen, a 5-MP wide-angle webcam that is wide enough to frame an entire conference room, dual mikes, an Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 4GB DDR4 RAM and a 32GB SSD running Chrome OS with the ability to host up to 100 callers at a time in a conference call.
The Acer Chromebase 24I2 comes with both touchscreen and non-touch enabled 24-inch Full HD display options, runs on an 8th gen Intel Core processor and can pack up to 8GB DDR4 RAM and up to a 128GB SSD. It also supports apps from the Google Play store.
What makes both all-in-ones appealing is their ability to enjoy the latest security patches and updates which happen in the background without any user downtime along with 24/7 support from Google. Prices will vary based on region and specific configuration. For more details swing by www.acer.com.my
