If you have a hankering for post apocalyptic shooters, you’re in luck as The Division 2 has rolled out their open beta for players keen to explore the ruins of post-pandemic Washington DC.

The open beta is available for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC and will end on March 5 at 5.00PM (UTC +8) so you can get a solid taste of what the game has to offer. If you miss out, fret not as Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will be available for purchase on March 15 which is just around the corner.

In the months following the launch, Ubisoft has stated that there will be regular content updates with free new missions, challenges, rewards and more for all players. Among the free content include a map called Tidal Basin where you and up to three other players have to, pun notwithstanding, root out a faction of dissidents called the Black Tusks from their stronghold with extreme prejudice.

There’s also a Year 1 Pass available to score earlier access to post-launch episodes in the first year of the game and immediate access to any new in-game specialisations as well as exclusive vanity items and 8 Classified Assignments for a nominal sum of USD$40.
