LG will be showcasing a levitating speaker at CES 2017

Hovering quietly in the air on account of powerful electromagnets located in the base of its housing, the LG PJ9 Levitating Portable speakers come with a 360-degree omnidirectional speaker and a subwoofer that incorporates passive radiators to kick out some excellent audio across the range.

The eerily floating speakers offer 10 hours of battery life and are IPX7 compliant with the ability to stream music from up to two other devices via Bluetooth. The speakers will be showcased at LG’s booth at CES 2017 and look like exceptional conversation pieces indeed. No word on prices or launch date or if it will even make it to our shores but we’ll keep you posted.
