Legends of Catalonia is a free VR game on Steam that lets you explore Catalonia, Spain

The closed borders in many countries on account of the COVID-19 pandemic makes travel and the prospect of an overseas holiday seem like a distant memory but the tourism board of Catalonia in conjunction with the Spanish arm of Sony have created a semi puzzle/exploratory game that also introduces the sights in the country dubbed the Legends of Catalonia.

The goal of the game is less of ‘winning’ than it is exploring though there are puzzle elements in the game. Your goal is to explore six scenic spots that consist of  the Roman amphitheater in Tarragona, the Seu Vella in Lleida, the mountain of Montserrat, the Cadaqués in Dalí, and the Mercat de Sant Antoni and the Sagrada Família in Barcelona.

You’ll also get to interact with with local celebrities that include Carles Pyol, Edurne Pasaban and the Roca brothers. And you can apparently also interact with a dragon though whether it’s of the Daenerys Targaryen variety remains to be seen.
