Apple’s latest generation of their insanely desirable smartphones will be making a relatively early appearance in Malaysia with the entirety of the series from the iPhone 12 mini to the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available for preorders on 6th November with a 13th November street date.

What’s new with the iPhone 12 series from Apple?


In keeping with their approach of measured advances with every generation, the Apple iPhone 12 series comes in the aforementioned 4 different sizes along with slightly different camera optics maxing out at the iPhone 12 Pro Max as the most powerful of the lot along with differently sized Super Retina XDR displays.

What is common with the entire series is the inclusion of their powerful new A14 Bionic processor that’s built on a 5nm process and is claims to have the fastest CPU and GPU in the market by up to 50% compared to the fastest competing smartphone processors. Also common to all variants is the inclusion of 5G connectivity.

Other common touch points include the omission of a charger and headphones with each box and MagSafe 15W wireless charging on the back with a bevy of compatible accessories to go along with them.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini share a common dual camera system while the larger iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max have a larger triple camera array that includes a LiDAR scanner.

The iPhone 12 Mini starts on the ground floor with a compact 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR display while the iPhone has a larger 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display.

The iPhone 12 Pro has a similar screen size as the iPhone 12 at 6.1-inches while the iPhone 12 Pro Max is the largest of them all with a 6.7-inch display. The new iPhone line-up will be available for preorders starting from 6th November 2020 and will be available for purchase on 13th November 2020.
