Huawei unveils the high-powered MateBook X Pro with 10th Gen i7 CPU for RM7,999
Huawei is going adding additional options to their notebook line-up as they’ve announced a plush looking deluxe model dubbed the MateBook X Pro for the Malaysia market that will come the latest 10th Gen Intel CPUs for RM7,999 along with a host of free gifts that include the new Sound X wireless speaker on purchase.
The Huawei MateBook X Pro comes with a metallic unibody chassis that integrates a 13.9-inch LTPS 3K resolution touchscreen panel that has a 91% screen-to-body ratio and a 3:2 aspect ratio that makes it ideal for content creation, the potent 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10510U processor, 16GB RAM, a generous 1TB SSD and NVIDIA MX250 graphics with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM. The impressive feat here is that Huawei has managed to keep the chassis at just 14.6mm thin while weighing 1.33kg, making it very portable indeed for a touchscreen-enabled convertible.
Hardware is only part of the picture for the MateBook X Pro as it is part of Huawei’s growing Smart Life ecosystem. The Huawei Smart Life ecosystem offers effortless and easy pairing with other Huawei devices and has a Smart Collaboration feature that lets you transfer content and mirror your phone display on your notebook home screen for enhanced productivity.
Huawei MateBook X Pro price
In Malaysia, the Huawei MateBook X Pro will ship in either Space Grey or Emerald Green though the latter will arrive soon in more limited quantities. Both colours will come with identical specifications and at the aforementioned price tag of RM7,999 and Huawei will throw in RM1,936 in free gifts that include a free SoundX speaker, a Huawei Bluetooth mouse, a Huawei backpack and a Band 4 smartband.
If you’re looking for something a bit more affordable, Huawei is also offering freebies worth up to RM756 when you purchase their other notebooks that include the MateBook 13, the MateBook D 14 and the MateBook D 15 with prices starting from RM2,899 depending on configuration.
