Huawei Mate Xs arriving this 20th March in Malaysia priced at RM11,111

Huawei’s foldable 5G smartphone, the Mate Xs that we previewed at a special preview in Malaysia that took place at the same time as the global launch will be available nationwide starting from 20th March 2020 at a rather princely price tag of RM11,111.

What you get for RM11,111 is a 5G ready smartphone with a foldable display that looks very impressive indeed. Powered by a Kirin 990 5G SoC, the Mate Xs also has a powerful camera array akin to the Mate30 Pro 5G so you can enjoy excellent snaps even under dim light conditions.

Just to make things even more interesting, Huawei is throwing in a free pair of their FreeBuds 3 wireless earbuds worth RM679 as well as a leather envelope case to protect the Mate Xs that’s worth RM299.

That’s not the only good thing when acquiring the Huawei Mate Xs. While the price tag looks rather daunting, Huawei Malaysia has partnered with several renowned Malaysian institutions that include CIMB, Bonia, Malaysia Airlines, Maxis, Celcom, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Senheng and Harvey Norman to offer up rewards worth RM150,000 for those who purchase the Mate Xs between 20th March all the way to May 19th 2020.

Basically, you can get special goodies and perks depending on who you buy the phone from. If you get it from CIMB’s official website, you can get a free Huawei GT2 smartwatch worth RM799 and 10x CIMB bonus points though this is limited to the first 20 units sold on a first come first served basis.
