The imaging capabilities of Huawei’s P30 series smartphones have been lauded far and wide by pundits on account of their impressive cameras that are capable of capturing impressive shots in low light scenarios and in the case of the P30 Pro, stunning shots via its telephoto lens. Today, Huawei Malaysia showed a host of ardent owners of the P30 series how to fully master the capabilities of their phones in an intensive one-day P30 series Masterclass event by renowned Malaysian photographer Abeden Mung.
During the event, Abeden Mung, who is renowned for the beautiful images he has showcased on his Instagram account shared his experiences with the Huawei P30 Pro smartphone. Invited guests, including several owners of the P30 series smartphones were given a primer on the basics of smartphone photography and terminology as well as a basic grounding in the fundamentals of photography in terms of composition and how the exposure triangle works for smartphone photography.
He then shared more about ideal subjects to shoot with the P30 series phones to inspire the class that include – people, colours, patterns, structures/architecture, shadows, black and white and landscapes.
During the P30 series Masterclass, he also shared the unique capabilities of Huawei’s flagship phones, in particular how zooming in can bring about uniquely different perspectives in order to tell different stories when composing a shot. Another useful tip Abeden Mung shared was to enable HDR mode as well as to take advantage of the P30 series superior Night mode capabilities to take shots under low light.
After the walkthrough, attendees were unleashed onto the immediate grounds of the venue to put what they learned into practice with five attendees recognised for their beautifully captured images.
