HTC’s smartphones hasn’t been in the headlines of late bar their continued specialisation in VR with the launch of the HTC Vive VR headset in Malaysia, but they certainly haven’t been sitting idle as they’ve just rolled out their latest midrange workhorse, the HTC U12 life.
The phone comes with a 6.0-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, runs Android 8.1 on a Snapdragon 636 octacore paired up with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage and has a rear dual camera array (16-MP + 5-MP). For selfies, it has a front-facing 13-MP f/2.0 camera along with an LED flash for low light scenarios. Other mod-cons include a 3.5mm audio jack and a 3,600mAh battery charged via a USB Type C port.
For Malaysia, the HTC U12 life is available for preorders starting from today till 26 November on Lazada, 11street and Shopee in two colour variants, both of which have a dual-toned textured finish that repels fingerprints dubbed Moonlight Blue and Twilight Purple for RM1,399 at all good retailers nationwide.
