Honor MagicBook notebook , 9x Pro phone and MagicWatch 2 in Sakura Gold arrive in Malaysia

Honor Malaysia has showcased a new line-up of offerings that expand beyond their traditional purview as a smartphone vendor as they revealed the Honor MagicBook notebook, the Honor MagicWatch 2 smartwatch in a shade of Sakura Gold and their 9x Pro smartphone, all of which come at very reasonable prices and freebies too.

The Honor MagicBook is an ultraportable that comes with a 14-inch Full HD IPS display and runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with integrated Radeon Vega 8 graphics, 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. In terms of connectivity, it comes with a single USB 3.0, a single USB 2.0 port, a HDMI port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Keeping it powered is a 57.6Wh battery juiced via the USB-C port and rated to last 10 hours in the field. The MagicBook is available for sale today on 8th April 2020 with a slew of free gifts worth RM1,017 that include a bluetooth wireless mouse, a laptop backpack and the MagicWatch 2 in black.

Honor 9X Pro

The Honor 9X Pro is their first phone sans Google services and instead comes with the Huawei AppGallery for users to acquire applications. The rest of the hardware consists of a 6.59-inch Fullview FHD+ LCD display, a Kirin 810 octacore processor paired with 6GB RAM and 256GB of storage space.

The rear comes with a triple camera array built around a primary 48-MP camera, an 8-MP ultra wide angle camera and a third 2-MP depth sensor while the front sports a motorised pop-up 16-MP camera.

The side-mounted power button doubles as a fingerprint reader. Keeping it juiced is a 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. In Malaysia the Honor 9X Pro retails for RM999 and will go on sale this 17th April at all Honor experience stores nationwide with a free Honor Band 51 smartband worth RM119.

Honor MagicWatch 2 in Sakura Gold

The MagicWatch 2 has made an appearance prior to this but this is the first time that the Sakura Gold hued variant is available in Malaysia. It’s functionally similar to its other siblings with a Kirin A1 chipset that offers a week of battery life , an Sp02 blood oxygen monitor and a 1.39-inch AMOLED display but notably has a gold finish along with what Honor calls a ‘Milanese wristband’. The MagicWatch 2 in Sakura Gold will retail for RM799 and will be available starting today on 8th April bundled with a free Honor Sport Pro worth RM299.
