In Malaysia, you can acquire the Honor Magic 4 Pro with 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage and your choice of black, gold and cyan colourways at the aforementioned RM3,999 price. In the preorder promotion that starts today and lasts until 10th June 2022 for the Magic 4 Pro, you’ll get RM1,656 in free gifts which consists of a free Honor Magic Watch GS3 smartwatch, a Magic 4 Pro protective phone case, a 1+1 year extended warranty along with 6 months of screen crack protection to protect your new acquisition.
Honor Magic 4 Pro Specifications
In terms of hardware, the Honor Magic 4 Pro is the brand’s most powerful flagship in the market for now and has a 6.81-inch LTO OLED display that’s curved on every edge, including the top and bottom edges while featuring a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 1,920Hz pulse width modulation (PWM) rate that minimises screen flicker to make it easier on the eyes for extended work. Other mod-cons include HDR10+ support, IMAX enhanced certification and support for the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Under the hood, the 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage comes with a flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor running Android 12 with Magic UI 6.0 overlaying it. One thing to note is that Android update support is capped at two years for now.
On the rear of the Honor Magic 4 Pro is a triple camera array built around a primary 50MP F/1.8 camera, a 50MP F/2.2 ultra wide angle camera and a 64MP F/3.5 telephoto camera with a 3.5x optical zoom via a periscope zoom array. Up front, the phone has a single 12MP F/2.4 camera for selfies that features a 3D ToF depth sensor.
Keeping the phone powered is a 4,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 100W wireless Honor SuperCharge fast charging via the provision of a special 100W Honor fast charger worth RM299.
Also launched at the same time is the Honor Watch GS 3 that uses 316L stainless steel, has 100 workout modes, heart rate monitoring and comes in Midnight Black for RM899 and Ocean Blue and Classic Gold for RM999.
Alongside it was the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro wireless earbuds that are surprisingly the first earbuds that have sensors to monitor your body temperature when worn.
