Honor 50 Malaysia launch imminent this 18th October 2021; will feature Google Mobile services
The upcoming Honor 50 Malaysia launch will take place next week on 18th October 2021. Malaysia will be the first country outside China to launch the phone and better yet, the Honor 50 will feature Google Mobile Services baked in so users will have access to the full Google Play Store and all the fun toys and apps it has within.

The Honor 50 Malaysia launch will kick off this coming 18th October 2021 at 8PM in a livestream on Honor Malaysia’s Facebook page and will be available on the official HONOR Store, Lazada’s HONOR Flagship Store, Shopee’s HONOR Official Store andHONOR Malaysia’s Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/HONORMY
What are the Honor 50 Malaysia specifications?
Honor Malaysia hasn’t mentioned which exact variant that Malaysia will get but they’ve already listed the Honor 50 on their online store with your choice of 4 colours – Honor Code, Midnight Black, Frost Crystal and Emerald Green with two storage configurations – 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM / 256GB storage. The actual price listed on the site isn’t real of course at this point in time and is a placeholder for now.
Storage aside, the Honor 50 Malaysia specifications will feature a 6.57-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and dual curved edges. On top of full flat Android and Google Mobile Services, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. Connectivity is comprehensive with 5G support, WiFi 6 and NFC.
The rear features a 108MP F/1.9 primary camera paired up with an 8MP ultra wide angle camera, a 2MP bokeh camera and a 2MP macro camera. Up front, the phone features a single 32MP selfie camera.
Keeping the Honor 50 powered is a 4,300mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge that can juice the phone up to 70% in 20 minutes. At present, there’s no price stated yet for the Honor 50 Malaysia launch but we’ll keep you posted.
