Hitachi Upgrade for Life campaign brings a range of new home appliances to Malaysia
Hitachi, one of Malaysia’s most renowned purveyors of home appliances rolled out two new additions to their extensive line-up that are both eco-friendly and a doddle to use. Joining their line-up is a new range of washing machines and refrigerators with the notable inclusion of the new R-VG490P8M two-door fridge and the new SF-170ZCV top-loading washing machine.
The 2-door R-VG490P8M fridge comes with a host of added tech that addresses all the traditional concerns of families owning a fridge. For starters, it has Hitachi’s dual fan cooling tech and an Inverter Compressor to save juice in the long run without compromising on performance. Added to this is a potent Triple Power Filter that aims to reduce nasty pongs as well as sterilising the compartment to inhibit bacterial growth.
This is further complemented by the ability to adjust airflow within the R-VG490P8M’s compartments to optimise it for either produce or vegetables as you so desire. Rounding up this impressive trifecta of tech is a decade-long compressor warranty which adds extra peace of mind for owners. The Hitachi R-VG490P8M comes in a fetching shade of Brilliant Black or silver though no price was announced at press time but it will arrive sometime in November.
The SF-170ZCV top-loading washing machine ups the ante over conventional machines as it has a new Hot Wash feature that introduces high temperature water and steam to eliminate stains and bacteria from your washing loads. There is also an Easy Refresh mode that uses the aforementioned high pressure steam to remove cloying odours like ciggie smoke without having to wash clothing again.
Of particular note is a PreWash+ feature that helps to scrub mud, dirt and other crud for heavily soiled clothing. Rounding things off is a sleek looking glass top to make it the centrepiece of your laundry room along with a ten year warrranty for the motor. The SF-170ZCV retails for RM3,099.
