The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G is one of the most pleasant additions to Samsung’s line-up of Galaxy S20 series phones this year and also comes in a 5G capable variant. The Galaxy S20 FE 4G itself lacks 5G but is one of the most affordable flagship phones in the market at RM2,699 – it’s normal retail price – but for two hours on Shopee, you can get it for RM2,099.
In the upcoming 12.12 Shopee sales on Shopee, you can get the Galaxy S20 FE 4G at a discounted price of RM2,099 for two hours starting from midnight on 12th December from 12.00AM to 2AM in the morning while stocks last. This effectively lets you get a flagship phone at midrange prices.
We previous tested the S20 FE 5G variant and were pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. On top of 5G connectivity, the phone had the most powerful processor currently available in the market – a Snapdragon 865 octacore processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage expandable via a microSD card slot.
Add in a very capable triple rear camera array plus a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz touchscreen up front and you have a powerful yet reasonably priced phone that punches above its weight class.

For starters, the Galaxy S20 FE 4G pares the storage down to 128GB and swaps out the Snapdragon 865 for Samsung’s own Exynos 990 processor. This isn’t a knock against it as it’s the same processor that is also used in their other Galaxy S20 series and Note20 series phones. Bar some performance differences in synthetic benchmarks, the Exynos 990 is undeniably powerful enough to tackle anything thrown at it and way beyond what you need for day to day use. And getting it for RM2,099 is a literal steal.
Plus the sobering fact that 5G isn’t coming in the country anytime soon, the Galaxy S20 FE 4G is a fantastic acquisition for anyone looking for the cheapest way to get in on the power and performance that the Galaxy S20 series phones are known for.
