Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note10 series update will confer some of the GalaxyS20 series’ best features

Samsung’s Galaxy S20 series offers some serious groundbreaking technologies like the ability to capture 8K video and a 120Hz display. They’ve also added in a host of features in its One UI 2.1 user interface that are almost defining hallmarks of the new S20 series and now, they’re rolling some of the best things about it in an update for the Galaxy S10 series and Note10 series in Malaysia.

By definition, this system update should be pushed and available for the following phones and will be appearing in the coming days.

Here’s what features the upcoming update One UI 2.1 will offer:

Single Take mode

Perhaps the biggest calling card of the Galaxy 20 series, Single Take mode takes advantage of AI to capture a slew of videos and photos at once with different modes and settings with just one press of the trigger. This means you’ll never miss taking the perfect shot whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Night Mode and Night Hyperlapse

These self explanatory new modes enable Galaxy S10 and Note10 series users to take better shots at night along with the nighttime hyperlapse videos.

Custom Filter

We didn’t use this mode as much but more discerning members of the Instagram crowd can create a custom image filter by selecting a favourite photo as a template.

Pro Video

This next level feature adds in a dedicated pro video capture mode that lets you tweak settings when capturing video like ISO, shutter speed and exposure level for both the front AND rear cameras.

Quick Share

Sharing used to be a royal pain in the posterior but this godsend lets you share huge files like photos, videos and more with multiple contacts in one fell swoop. Brilliant, really.
