The Dell XPS 13 is the de facto ultraportable for those seeking premium aesthetics and performance in a chic design and their latest generation with Intel 12th Gen Core processors aims to continue the tradition of its predecessor with the latest generation slated to arrive in Malaysia this month from RM4,999 sometime in June 2022. Slated for deployment sometime later in August is the latest Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 detachable.

The latest fifth generation Dell XPS 13 has even slimmer bezels on the InfinityEdge display with all four sides offering ultra slim bezels to offer a large 13.4-inch 4K display in a 13-inch laptop form factor. The highest end variant features a 13.4-inch 4K UHD+ InfinityEdge touchscreen though variants with a non-touch 1080P and an FHD+ touch variant are available.
Under the hood, the Dell XPS 13 comes with either a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1250U or i5-1230U processor paired with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, up to a 1TB SSD and Iris Xe graphics, Iris Xe graphics and a 51Whr battery offering all-day battery life.
Video calls are tackled via HD webcam up top of the display and the XPS 13 has a fingerprint reader in the power button as well as a pair of Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports with DisplayPort and Power Delivery to juice the aforementioned battery. Other mod-cons include fast WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
What is remarkable is that Dell has managed to make the chassis even more ecologically sustainable with the use of low-carbon aluminium produced from hydro-powered renewable energy sources which offers a 70% reduction in carbon emissions and it also uses 100% renewable or recycled packaging.
