Super tough Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme laptops coming to Malaysia in December
If you’re one of the rare few who need laptops that are literally as tough as Tony Stark’s Iron Man suits or who are so butter fingered that you need a laptop that can withstand epic levels of punishment, well, you’re in luck as the Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme and Latitude 5430 Rugged will be coming to Malaysia this December 2021.
What is the new Latitude Rugged Extreme laptop series?
As you’d surmise from their names, the new Dell Latitude Rugged series laptops are intended for business purposes and are as tough as they get with significant drop proofing and a measure of water resistance too while packing the latest Windows 11 OS under the hood.
Primarily intended for enterprise customers who are working offsite or in remote areas such as oil rigs or in the sticks, the new generation of Dell Latitude Rugged series laptops have been redesigned to offer 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs with optional vPro, WiFi 6E and 5G connectivity, touch capable screens up to 1,400 nits brightness and enhanced battery life with almost 25 hours in the field with dual hot-swappable batteries and a fast Express Charge Boost capable of juicing the battery to 35% in 20 minutes. All of the new Dell Latitude Rugged series laptops also ship with Dell Optimizer to ensure optimised performance.
The Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme is a 13-inch laptop that has 5G connectivity, an optional 1400-nit direct-sunlight viewable touchscreen and a chassis rated for MIL-STD-810H levels of protection that has been drop tested from up to 6-feet. That’s not all, it also has an IP65 rating for dust, dirt and water ingress too.
The Latitude 5430 Rugged is a 14-inch semi-rugged laptop that’s slightly less resilient than the Dell Latitude 7330 but is still plenty tough. It features 5G connectivity, a 14-inch display, optional professional discrete graphics and has been drop tested from 3-feet while packing IP53 water, dust and dirt ingress.
