Command & Conquer Remastered inbound June 2020 on Steam and Origin!

Considered one of the definitive cornerstones of the real time strategy genre, Command & Conquer is an indelible part of our childhood but it has shown its age since its original debut some two decades plus ago. Now, EA has heard our prayers as they’re deploying their Command & Conquer Remastered Collection.

The Command & Conquer Remastered Collection comprises the original Command & Conquer: Tiberium Dawn and Red Alert. It will also come with all the associated expansion packs for both games that include Covert Ops, Counterstrike and Aftermath.

The remastered package will have updated graphics and in-game CGI lovingly remastered to 4K resolution so that textures, buildings and units are razor sharp for today’s high definition displays. The games user interface, originally designed for much lower resolution screens and simpler times has also been revamped as well.

Added to this is the full ensemble of multiplayer options including 1vs1 matches, quick replays and the like. There’s also a selection of in-game goodies including behind the scenes looks at how the cutscenes and CGI were made which were not revealed before, until now that is.

The iconic music of C&C and Red Alert such as Act on Instinct as well as Hell March are all remastered as well by the original series composer Frank Klepacki so you’ll also get higher fidelity audio as well to the tune of a whopping 7 hours of luscious music to listen to.

The Command & Conquer Remastered edition will reinforce your PCs for the low price of RM79 on Steam and Origin this coming June 5th. There’s also a physical edition variant that comes with a bunch of goodies including a mini Mammoth Tank Mk1, faction pins for GDI, NOD, the Soviets and the Allies and more for an additional sum.
