What is the Huawei Mate50 Pro
For the uninitiated, the Huawei Mate50 Pro is their return to the limelight as it’s their best flagship phone yet. In essence, the Mate50 Pro features a 6.74-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 CPU with a 4G modem running EMUI 13, 8GB RAM, either 256GB or 512GB of storage, a rear XMAGE triple camera array with a changeable 10-step aperture, a front-facing 13MP selfie camera and a 4,700mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
The Huawei Mate50 features much of the same hardware but swaps the rear 64MP telephoto camera out for a more modest 12MP telephoto camera along with a slightly smaller 4,460mAh battery.
