BenQ releases their new e-Sports XL2540 gaming monitor for RM2,399
BenQ today took the wraps off their new Zowie XL2540 24.5-inch Full HD gaming monitor that comes with a host of refinements optimised for professional e-sports gamers.
Its main calling card is that it has a 240Hz refresh rate for exceptionally smooth frame rates, assuming your gaming rig supports it of course. The XL2540 also has a stated 12 million:1 dynamic contrast ratio with a 1ms response time.
The XL2540 also integrates a number of additional features for optimised gaming like their Colour Vibrance setting that optimises colours based on gaming genre as well as a Black eQualiser that optimises dark settings in-game without overexposing bright areas.
An unusual addition to the monitor is the addition of a pair of adjustable side-flaps that act a bit like horse blinders to eliminate distractions when gaming. Another BenQ specific addition is the inclusion of an S Switch control that lets you swap between different settings at will. In terms of ports, it notably comes with a DVI-DL, a pair of HDMI outputs, four USB ports and a headphone jack.
The Zowie XL2540 will retail for RM2,399 with a launch date slated sometime in mid-March. For more details drop by www.benq.com.my.
