Beats Studio Buds with ANC and 3 sweet colourways arriving in Malaysia priced at RM629
Apple has just listed the spanking new Beats Studio Buds on their Malaysia site along with a price tag of RM629.
The Beats Studio Buds come in three colourways – Beats Red, Beats Black and Beats White with a silicone eartips and a charging case that features a flattish and tall form factor like an elongated hockey puck that opens up top to store the ear buds. The whole affair, earbuds and charging case included is sweat and water resistant with an IPX4 rating which makes it vastly more convenient to tote around.
In terms of hardware, the Beats Studio Buds features 8.2mm dual-element diaphragm drivers with a central rigid piston and a two-chamber acoustic design to achieve stereo separation and low harmonic distortion. The earbuds also feature a laser cut micro-vent for ear pressure relief and three swappable eartips to ensure a better fit.
The main calling here of the Beats Studio Buds is its ability to support Spatial Audio for selected tracks mixed in with Dolby Atmos for some seriously immersive sound. It also features Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) along with a Transparency mode when you need to hear ambient noise.
While it plays best with Apple gear, it also works well with Android devices as well and the Beats Studio Buds is rated for 8 hours of battery life on a single charge with two more from the charging case. If you turn on ANC or Transparency mode, you still get a substantial 5 hours of usage and up to a total of 15 with the charging case factored in. For charging duties, a 5-minute juicing gets you an hour of playback time.
Beats Studio Buds price in Malaysia
Apple hasn’t mentioned when you could buy the Beats Studio Pro yet in Malaysia but based on prior events, you’ll likely be able to plonk down your plastic for it in a matter of weeks for its listed RM629 price in all three official colourways.
