Acer launches Swift 3 ultraportable for RM2,899

Acer’s light ultraportable rig that was glimpsed at IFA has finally been launched in Malaysia. The notebook is hewn from aluminium and is 17.95mm thin and weighs 1.5kg while cramming in a 14-inch 1080p display. The notebook comes with an Intel i5-6200U processor, 4GB DDR4 RAM a 256GB SSD and Intel HD 520 graphics. The built-in 3,220mAh 4-cell battery offers a rated 10 hours of battery life an impressive sum that should allow for paperwork crunching well until the cows come home. Other bonuses include a fingerprint reader, a USB 3.0 port featuring power-off USB charging, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a HDMI port and a card reader.
