Acer Day wants you to Feel the Vibe with a slew of crazy offers and launch of Helios 300 and Helios 700
Acer will be hosting their upcoming Acer Day celebrations which herald a wallet-demolishing onslaught of tempting deals, promotions, freebies and more leading to, after and on August 2nd 2020 along with a huge bundle of gifts when you buy the new Helios 300 and Helios 700 gaming laptops.
The biggest difference this time around, seeing the new normal, is that Acer Day will be held virtually rather than the customary road shows though there’s no shortage of bargains to be had.

On Acer Day itself on 2nd August at 3PM on Acer Malaysia’s Facebook page, Acer will showcase performances by local celebrities that include Pong Pong, Cikidot and Linora as well as lucky draw sessions worth more than RM22,000 including the new Predator Helios 300 and Predator Triton 700 up for grabs.
Just to make things more interesting, Acer is adding a host of new bargains that include an additional “Buy and Win Lucky Draw” which has a separate prize pool worth more than RM26,000 with winners chosen on Acer’s Facebook page in August and September 2020. Predator Helios 300 Price
The refreshed Predator Helios 300 comes in two flavours which are otherwise similar but which differ in terms of what processor they pack. The Predator Helios 300 with a 15.6-inch 144Hz Full HD display, 8GB DDR4 2,933MHz RAM that’s upgradeable to 32GB, a 512GB PCIe NVME SSD as stock with an extra SSD slot and hard disk slot with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM as well as Killer WiFI 6 802.11a/g/g/n+ac+ax wireless connectivity.
If you opt for the variant with a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H, be ready to chunk out RM5,199 while the variant with a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10300H CPU retails for RM4,599. From 2nd to 4th August 2020, Acer will offer RM100 off both laptops when you buy it during this window of time.

Predator Helios 700 Price
The Predator Helios 700 also comes in two different variants that have more substantial differences between each other though both have equally princely prices. The highest end Predator Helios has a 17.3-inch 144Hz Full HD display, a potent Intel Core i9-10980HK processor, 16GB DDR4 2,933MHz RAM upgradable to 64GB, a 1TB PCIe Gen3x4 NVME SSD with two 512GB SSDs in Raid0 configuration and a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. ALl this clocks in at an eye-wateringly impressive RM17,999.
For RM12,999, you can score a slightly more affordable variant of the Helios 700 that is similar but which trades in the CPU for a more affordable Intel Core i7-10875H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB graphics card with GDDR6 VRAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD with a 1TB hard disk.
Regardless of variant, the Predator Helios features the slick sliding HyperDrift keyboard and a revamped thermal solution calle Predator PowerGem that offers a new thermal interface material (TIM) that has 3.83 times more vertical heat conductivity than conventional copper paired with 4th generation Aeroblade 3D fans for superior cooling.
