YES 4G’s epic “Find the Yes Man” grand finale manhunt rewards RM10,000 to lucky winner

One of Malaysia’s first telcos to run on a next-gen VoLTE network, Yes 4G has come off to an impressive run out from the starting gate. To date, they’ve installed over 4,400 base stations nationwide and plan to increase the depth of coverage as well with an additional 800 base stations within the next two quarters. Their phone plans are unique in that they eschew the’ bucket’ system for an unrestricted, massive pool of data for users to use as they see fit.

“We aim to benchmark ourselves to be the regional best when it comes to quality. For the last five years, we have been operating as a broadband player and the bar has been raised higher now that we are operating in the telco space as well ,” said Wing K. Lee, CEO of YTL Communications at the recent Find the Yes Man event.

The Find the Yes Man competition took place over a month and saw hordes of avid followers seeking clues to find the elusive Yes Man. Finding him is like a Pokemon hunt of sorts, except you score cold hard cash from RM500 and up, with the amounts increasing later on to RM1000 in the closing weeks of the competition. If the Yes Man was not found on a particular day, the prizes snowballed. The clincher is if the winner of that day was a Yes subscriber: the amount gets doubled instantly. The Yes Man so far has romped across the nation, appearing in spots all the way from Kuala Perlis up north all the way in East Malaysia in Sabah, dispensing a thousands of dollars in cash prizes daily.
