On top of making some of the most affordable smartphones we’ve seen, Xiaomi is now making an interesting eclectic array of appliances and tech for their Mi Ecosystem range of products that aims to hook them all up to their Mi Ecosystem platform. The most interesting thing they have just announced out of their latest crop of products is the Mi Laser Projector capable of projecting a crisp cinema-grade 150-inch display for your edification right in your living room.

The compact shoebox sized affair is currently dubbed the world’s first cinema-level laser projector TV. This is on account of it packing ALPD 3.0 laser light source tech from Appotronic, one of China’s leading providers for the hardware used in their laser projection movie theatres. It also has speakers built into the whole affair overlaid by their Mi TV interface so you can enjoy viewing content straight off the box. The price fortunately doesn’t cost as much as owning your own cinema but it is pricier than a movie ticket of course at RMB 9,999 which works out to about RM6,325 with change.

That’s not all. Xiaomi has also come up with an update to their electric Ninebot scooter that was released a couple of years back. The revamped Ninebot Plus lets someone up to 100kg trundle to a distance of 35km before needing a recharge and it has a remote control too in the event you need to command it remotely. The Ninebot Plus retails for RMB3,499 which is RM2,213 in local currency. Xiaomi has also launched a quaint Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush that vibrates up to 31,000 times a minute off its 700mAh battery to clean your chompers. It retails for RMB199 which is about RM125.
