Vivo’s new V3 Max phone aims to redefine value with Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM and more for RM1,399

Vivo’s  hit the Malaysian market with a bang with quite an interesting offering in the form of their budget V3Max phone.P_20160413_163025_HDR (Custom)

The phone comes with a form factor and design that is akin to many flagship phones today with a machined unibody aluminium casing in a shade of burnished gold, 2.5D glass and gently edged curves all around. The whole affair is crammed is 7.58mm thin and 168g in weight. The rear of the phone comes with a squarish-shaped fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.

The hardware is of note as it comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 1.8GHz 64-bit octa-core processor – one of the first phones in Malaysia to pack one, 4GB RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a rear 13-MP camera with LED flash and point detection autofocus, a front 8-MP camera and a hybrid SIM card/microSD tray that lets you pop in two SIM cards or one SIM card and one microSD card slot. The Vivo V3Max also has an AK4375 Hi-Fi chip for better music playback and the phone natively supports high res lossless audio formats like FLAC and the like. All this tech goodness costs a modest RM1,399. The Vivo V3Max is available for sale at authorised retailers from 16 April onwards.
