Honor has been  expanding their influence in mobile gaming and have tied up with top gaming companies to launch their phones as official gaming platforms for selected games. This time around, they’ve upped the ante as they have announced that their new honor View 10 will be the official smartphone of the Modern Combat Versus honor International Series.

For the uninitiated, Modern Combat Versus is an online-only 4-on-4 competitive sci-fi themed FPS shooter with a variety of weapons, different classes and characters donning full-faced suits of powered armour. There’s liberal homage to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Titanfall in terms of the game mechanics but it’s a unique twist unto its own, more so for the fact that the Modern Combat Versus honor International Series will be a competition taking place entirely on phones – specifically the honor View 10.

honor is collaborating with Gameloft to organise this prestigious global tournament.
“We are excited to partner with Gameloft once again to take mobile gaming to the next level,” said Mr. George Zhao, President of honor. “honor has dug deep into what gamers care about. In order to provide players with extraordinary gaming experience, we have optimised artificial intelligence, viewing experience, processing power and even the battery life of honor View 10.”

The tournament starts from 11 February and has teams from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, India and Malaysia facing off with the winning team taking back 10,000 Euros (about a whopping RM48,500) and the honor View 10 phone. For more details and to sign up, swing by their official page here
