The Honor 7 Enhanced is getting an RM200 price reduction, will soon be RM1299

Huawei’s spinoff midrange retail brand Honor has been making quite a few waves lately with their Honor 8 phone that incorporates hardware culled from their high-end P9 flagship phones, in particular their dual camera setup which has a single mono and a single colour sensor paired up together for better overall performance. The difference is that the Honor 8 ditches the Leica branding festooning the P9 series and tweaks the user interface slightly though it essentially sports a similar dual-camera array. It’s a good deal cheaper than the P9 too at RM1,699. The P9 retails for RM2,099. If you’re keen on seeing what the Honor 8 can offer, check out our hands-on here. If the Honor 8 is still too rich for your blood, you can still opt for their reliable Honor 7 and Honor 7 Enhanced phones that, coincidentally enough, will experience a permanent price reduction soon.

The Honor 7 currently retails for RM1,399 while the Honor 7 Enhanced retails for RM1,499. After September 26 2016, which equates to this coming Monday, both phones will have a permanent RM200 price reduction. The new price, after 26 September for the Honor 7 will be RM1,199 while the Honor 7 Enhanced will be RM1,299. Both phones  have a single rear 20-MP camera setup and are one generation behind the Honor 8 though they’re very capable in their own right with an all metal unibody casing, fingerprint readers and their nippy Kirin 935 processor running the show.Where they differ is that the Honor 7 Enhanced sports double the storage space at 32GB over the Honor 7’s 16GB of storage. The price cut makes both phones all the more appealing. Both the Honor 7 and Honor 7 Enhanced can be purchased on Vmall.my and all authorised retailers nationwide.
