Samsung’s smart home appliances range aims to save time, money and more

While Samsung usually plonks their most cutting edge tech into their smartphones and tellies, they’re also kitting on the rest of their appliances with quite an array of top notch tech too. Taken individually, their range of smart appliances this year are exceptional examples that offer a host of time-saving functions that make life a little easier and save you a bit of time. Taken together, their current appliances line-up all add up to the sort of time savings that can make a difference between you wasting hours on chores or, in our case, being able to cram in a few extra hours of Overwatch on the console.

Samsung’s POWERbot vacuum cleaner is essentially smart enough to navigate all but the trickiest domicile with their Visionary Mapping Plus System tech and is a dab hand at keeping the joint dust free in lieu of you actually getting on your feet and using a broom. It’s actually smart enough to return back to its dock to recharge when needed and is able to clean a good sized room in minutes with few blind spots. That’s quite a bit of time saved.

Their recently released Triangle Air-Conditioner comes with all of their most recent energy saving refinements, including their Digital Inverter tech to save up to 68% of juice on average. The integrated air purifier also has a sensor that actively monitors real-time air quality and ensures the air around the house is clean while their Virus Doctor tech purges dust, allergens, virii and the like with extreme prejudice. While it doesn’t look obvious, the savings add up over time and a good night’s sleep with this, especially when haze season rolls around, is worth its weight in gold.

On the laundry front, their Addwash Front Load Washer has the ability to manage both large and small loads with a pop-out loading bay that lets you add in the odd bit of washing or two that you’ve missed out. The Digital Inverter Motor also keeps the machine whisper quiet and ensures long-term durability without raising a clattering racket whenever it’s in use, making it an option if you need to use it after sundown or if you encounter a beverage-related wardrobe malfunction.

Cooking usually takes up a ton of time though Samsung’s new Hotblast Smart Oven isn’t just hot air as it comes with unique tech that cuts down cooking time by loads while ensuring roasts and dishes, even problematic cuts of meat are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside too. Even better, it also has the ability to help you raise dough or yogurt too with the press of a button. Brill stuff.

They’ve also handled the food storage front too as their Twin Cooling Plus fridge range comes in a variety of sizes for all homes, is highly configurable and is smart enough to keep food, veg and even dairy fresh for longer periods of time than the usual. It also comes with their Digital Inverter tech that help to save costs too.

While all this hardware doesn’t quite talk to each other just yet like the concept of an Internet of Things enabled home, they all still make life just that little bit easier and, taken together, save quite a pretty penny too over the long term. That’s a win in our books. To find out more swing by www.samsung.com/my.
